Learn skills for fabric draping and pattern making with the use of a dress form. Joe will demonstrate basic to intermediate techniques. Practice draping with muslin on a body form provided in class or bring your own for a custom fit. Seamlessly translate the draped muslin onto a refined pattern while learning dart manipulation. $35 advance plus $30 kit fee.

This hands-on workshop will take place at the Spark Hotel Superior meeting room (2110 Rimrock Rd.), which is adjacent to the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center. It is approximately a 5-minute walk from the front lobby of the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center to the Spark Hotel. There is a connector gate between the two buildings, so you will not need to go outside. A map and directions will be emailed to you and can also be found on our website.
