In this class we’ll make a Hawaiian Appliqué wall quilt in a unique way. Each student will create their very own pattern using their initials as part of the design. Then we’ll stencil our design onto fabric using Oil Paint Sticks, freezer paper, and a stencil brush. No stitching involved! $35 advance.

This hands-on workshop will take place at the Spark Hotel meeting room (2110 Rimrock Rd.), which is adjacent to the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center. It is approximately a 5-minute walk from the front lobby of the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center to the Spark Hotel. There is a connector gate between the two buildings, so you will not need to go outside. A map and directions will be emailed to you and is also available on our website.
