Tamara Funk, Textiles Curator for the Wisconsin State Historical Society, shares the best ways to care for, store and display historic textiles, including a broad array of fiber textiles beyond quilts. There will also be a sneak peek into the ways textiles will be exhibited at the new Wisconsin History Center. Participants are invited to bring textiles, or images of textiles, that they would like to discuss. $35 advance.

This hands-on workshop will take place off-site at the Holiday Inn Express Olin Room (610 John Nolen Dr.), which is a 5-minute drive from the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center.
