Cherrywood has an amazing suede texture, but we will take it a step further with Inktense pens. Karla will walk you through a simple design using freezer paper templates and a brush-tip fabric marker to add shadow. The finished piece will be stretched on canvas and ready to hang. $35 advance plus $20 kit fee.

This hands-on workshop will take place at the Spark Hotel meeting room (2110 Rimrock Rd.), which is adjacent to the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center. It is approximately a 5-minute walk from the front lobby of the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center to the Spark Hotel. There is a connector gate between the two buildings, so you will not need to go outside. A map and directions will be emailed to you and can also be found on our website.
