In this calming class, students will slow down and practice mindful stitching, while practicing therapeutic techniques to increase well-being. Together we will explore the psychology of color and shape to compose personal and expressive design. Students will create unique mini quilts using handiwork techniques. $35 in advance plus $20 kit fee.

Please note, this hands-on workshop will take place at the Clarion Suites Hotel Michigan Room (2110 Rimrock Rd.), which is adjacent to the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center. It is approximately a 5-minute walk from the front lobby of the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center to the Clarion Suites Hotel. There is a connector gate between the two buildings, so you will not need to go outside. A map and directions will be included with your tickets.
